Exit Festival 2013 Hostels

This popular 200 bed hostel offers comfortable en-suite rooms for all sizes. Family run, downstairs you'll find the mother cooking up the day's traditional Serbian delights.

The hostels roof terrace is Novi Sad's largest and with a friendly bar selling cheap cold drinks, sun loungers, outdoor showers and DJs playing tunes all day long it's the perfect place to party in the morning, chill during the day and start you off again in the evening before heading to EXIT.

Downstairs is a local shop and a 5 minute walk takes you to one of Novi Sads largest and most mesmerising super markets, packed full of fresh fruit, meats, alcohol and other such Serbian delights.

The hostel is 6km and about a 7 minute taxi ride from the hostel to EXIT which costs around 350 Dinar (5 Euros).

This quirky, well run hostel offers 2 and 3 bed en-suite rooms with air conditioning and wooden interior.

Located in Petrovaradin it is only a 10 minute walk away from EXIT Festival gates.

This hostel also offers 24 hour surveillance, wireless internet and linen and towels are also provided.

Hostel Dom is located on the bank of the river Danube just a minutes’ walk from the popular 'Strand' beach, which with its stunning setting, grassy banks and sandy beach is a perfect place to chill during the day.

This hostel is a popular choice with EXIT Festival goers. It has 500 rooms which have all been recently re-furbished. It is a 3km walk between the hostel and EXIT (25min) and 2km from the city centre. Running near to hostel is the number 4 bus which transports you to Novi Sad city centre and a taxi ride from the hostel to EXIT Festival will cost around 3 euros.

All the hostel rooms are en-suite with two single beds and their own private balcony. The hostel will provide you with bed linen and towels and there is a 24 hour reception which has a safe for valuables.

Around the corner from the hostel are some bars serving cheap beer and offering WI FI internet connection.

Hostel Dom C is a brand new hostel located next door to the popular Hostel Dom B. Each hostel room has twin beds, private balcony, en-suite bathroom and kitchenette with hobs and a refrigerator. There is also a safe in every hostel room.

The brand new Hostel Dom C offers all the amenities you could wish for in a hostel to make your stay as comfortable as possible. With twin beds, private balcony, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and a safe in every room you won't find a better equipped hostel in Novi Sad.

Bedding and towels are provided by the hostel. The reception is 24 hours and has a kiosk selling snacks and cigarettes to hostel guests. There are also some fun bars with cheap beer and wireless internet only minutes away from the hostel.

The hostel is located on the banks of the Danube and right next door to the popular Hostel Dom B. Just up the road from the hostel are the popular sandy banks of Strand beach, an ideal place to chill out during the days of EXIT Festival.

The distance from the hostel to EXIT is 3km and a 25 min walk along the river or a 5 minute taxi ride costs 3 euros. From the centre of town to the hostel is 2km and will take 15 minutes by foot. Near the hostel is the no.4 bus stop that will transport you to the centre of Novi Sad.

Sajmiste Hostel is a great new hostel offering comfortable and en-suite twin doubles which come with a small cooker and fridge.

The hostel rooms are cool, well furbished and a comfortable place to come back to after a hard nights raving at EXIT.

In the entrance to the hostel is a small grocery shop, an internet room and 24 hour reception.

The distance from the hostel to the festival is 3km and to the centre of Novi Sad 2km. There is a bus that runs from the outside the hostel transporting you directly to the festival bridge.

This Hostel is the cheapest and closest to the EXIT Festival that we offer. It is located near the centre Novi Sad and only a 10 min walk from the EXIT. The hostel rooms consist of twin doubles with shared bathroom and toilet facilities.

Bajic Hostel is located right next to the park where the old EXIT campsite used to be. The hostel is split into two buildings and each room has twin beds, two tables, shelves and a closet. The toilet is shared with one other twin room and the shower is shared with three other twin rooms.

Just over the road from the hostel is the popular Spens complex which has an array of bars and Serbian restaurants serving traditional dishes – a great place to eat on your first night in Novi Sad and something you have to try during your time at EXIT.

The hostel itself has two shops and a fast food restaurant for hostel guests.

Best of all however, the hostel is only 1.2km and a 10 min walk from the EXIT gates and only 800m to the centre of Novi Sad and the Danube.

In the town of Cortanovci, surrounded by National Park and 17km away from Novi Sad you will find this charming and peaceful guest house. Set in amongst lush trees and greenery Sunny Hostel offers a tranquil and calm retreat to those who want spend their days between EXIT relaxing by the pool and re-energising on great local Serbian food and good company. The rooms are homely, well kept and comfortable and consist of one double, one twin double and one mixed dorm for five. The bathroom is shared.

Downstairs is a dining room that lead's out to a beautifully shaded terrace, large garden and temporary swimming pool. There is a computer with internet for guests to use and wifi though-out.

The owners are some of the most welcoming people you will meet and will pride themselves in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Olivera, the wife, cooks the most delicious food and is particularly proud of her success in catering for vegetarians in a country where meat is very much the staple. Meals cost 4euro per person and if you wish you will be fed until you can eat no more.

Transport to EXIT festival from the hostel can be arranged each evening via mini bus and costs no more than 2euro per person. Getting back to the hostel from EXIT will cost around 3euro per person via taxi.

There are also a selection of tours of the National Park, the Danube and the remains of a Roman Fortress to check out if you wish.

All the rooms have bunk beds and there are sets of well kept showers close to all the rooms.

This place has a welcoming atmosphere and with its thick brick walls the rooms keep their cool remarkably during the hot Serbian summers.

Best of all though, these girls must be spoilt because there is a large self contained garden in the middle of the building with trees for shade and grass for comfort making a perfect place to sit back and chill during the day. What the girls don't get however is a bar, bbq and tunes throughout - but you do!
